Oothikachiya Ponnu is a 1981 Malayalam-language Drama Family motion picture written by V.k. Pavithran and B.r. Ramakrishna. The movie is directed by P.k. Joseph and P. K. Joseph and produced by Shanmugha Priya Films under the banner of Shanmugha Priya Films. The movie revolves around a girl which is from a poor family and the incidents in her life after meeting with a millionaire accidentally. Oothikachiya ponnu stars Poornima Jayaram, Mammootty, Shankar Panicker, Mohanlal Viswanathan, K.p. Ummer, Santhakumari and Suchitra Murali. The screenplay is written by V. K. Pavithran.
