Paheli is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language film featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukerji, Juhi Chawla, Anupam Kher, Amitabh Bachchan, Sunil Shetty and Rajpal Yadav. The movie is based on Nagamandala by T. S. Nagabharana and Girish Karnad. Paheli is based on the short story written by Vijayadan Detha in Rajasthani language and tells the story of a wife who is left by her husband and visited by a ghost, disguised as her husband, who is in love with her and takes her husband's place. Paheli was Produced by Gauri Khan. The movie is directed by Amol Palekar. Red Chillies Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. The movie has a running time of 141 minutes. Paheli was made on a budget of ₹14 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹12 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sandhya Gokhale. Cinematography was done by Ravi K.
