Pasanga is a 2009 Tamil-language Drama Family motion picture written and directed by Pandiraj and produced by M Sasikumar and M. Sasikumar under the banner of Company Production. Anbukkarusu, a bright student, takes admission in a new school. Jeevanandam, who is popular in his class, feels jealous when Anbukkarusu begins to get all the attention. Pasanga stars Kishore Ds, Sree Raam, Vimal, Vega Tamotia, Sri Ram, Pakoda Pandi and Sujatha. The music was composed by James Vasanthan. Cinematography was done by Premkumar and editing by Yoga Baskar and Sound Recordist Rajshekar.k. The motion picture has a running time of 151 minutes. It was released on 1st May 2009. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹11 crore. At the 2010 South Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Supporting Actor (V. Jayaprakash). At the 2010 National Film Awards It also won 2 awards including: Best Screenplay and Best Feature Film in Tamil.
