Patnavasam is a 1978 Telugu-language Drama motion picture written by Rajashri Raju and T. Damodaran. The movie is directed by P. Chandrasekhara Reddy and I. V. Sasi and produced by Hanumantha Rao Ghattamaneni and N. G. John. Patnavasam stars Balan K. Nair in the lead role along with Ratheesh, Mammootty, T. G. Ravi, Kuthiravattam Pappu, Krishnachandran, Vijaya Nirmala and Sripriya Raj Kumar in supporting roles. The music was composed by Shyam. Cinematography was done by S. S. Chandramohan and C. E. Babu and editing by K. Narayanan. It was released on 1st January 1978. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Geo Pictures.
