Pinnilavu is a 1983 Malayalam-language Comedy Drama film written by Thoppil Bhasi and C. Radhakrishnan. The movie is directed by P.g. Viswambharan and P. G. Viswambharan and produced by Raju Mathew under the banner of Century Films. Clash of generations, with a fair apocalyptic share of western influences on Kerala's urban youth in the early 80s. Pinnilavu stars Madhu in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Mammootty, Poornima Jayaram, Srividya Krishnamurthy, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Maniyanpilla Raju and Adoor Bhasi. The screenplay is written by Thoppil Bhasi. The music was composed by National Award winner Ilaiyaraaja. Cinematography was done by Ramachandra Babu and editing by G. Venkitaraman. It was released on 24th June 1983.
