Sameeram is a 2018 Telugu-language Romance Drama film directed by Aparna Sen and produced by Shree Venkatesh Films under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. Sameera(Amrita Acharya) is an orphan who does not enjoy life and saves all her income for the future. As time passes by, she gets affected by a deadly disease and doctors say that she has only a few months left in her life. Upset with this, she decides to enjoy the rest of the time and leaves to Thailand. Sameeram stars Jisshu Sengupta, Anirban Bhattacharya, Tuhina Das, Amrita Acharya, Jabardasth Ramu and Yashwanth. The motion picture is based on Ghaire Baire by Rabindranath Tagore. The music was composed by Neel Dutt. Cinematography was done by Soumik Haldar and editing by Rabiranjan Maitra. It was released on 31st August 2018.
