Sharkwater is a 2007 English-language Documentary film written and directed by Rob Stewart and produced by Rob Stewart. An investigation of sharks' importance to ecosystems and humankind's mass destruction of shark species worldwide. Sharkwater stars Rob Stewart in the lead role along with Erich Ritter, Boris Worm, Patrick Moore, Paul Watson and Rex Weyler in supporting roles. The music was composed by Moby along with Nina Simone, Ali Farka Toure, The Riderless, Geoffrey Oryema, Aphex Twin and Portishead. The film has a running time of 89 minutes. It was released on 2nd November 2007. The film made a box office gross of $1 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Freestyle Releasing.
