Sleeping with the Enemy is a 1991 English-language Drama Thriller film written by Nancy Price and Ronald Bass. The movie is directed by Joseph Ruben and produced by Leonard Goldberg. A young woman fakes her own death in an attempt to escape her nightmarish marriage, but discovers it is impossible to elude her controlling husband. Sleeping with the enemy stars Julia Roberts, Patrick Bergin, Kevin Anderson, Elizabeth Lawrence, Kyle Secor, Claudette Nevins and Ron Reedy. The screenplay is written by Ronald Bass and Bruce Joel Rubin which is inspired from Sleeping with the Enemy by Nancy Price. The music was composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
