Kunal Mehra lives a middle-classed lifestyle in Borivali, Mumbai, along with his disapproving dad, Purabi.. Super star stars Kunal Khemu, Tulip Joshi, Aushima Sawhney, Apoorva S. Badgaiyan, Nishikant Dixit, Deep Dudani and Aman Verma. The music was composed by Shamir Tandon. Cinematography was done by Piyush Shah and editing by Arun Kumar. It was released on 8th February 2008. Super Star was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Percept Picture Company.
