Takkar is a 1980 Hindi-language Drama motion picture written by Rahul Dev Burman, Chandandas Shokh and Anand Bakshi. The movie is directed by K. Bapaiah and produced by G. A. Seshagiri Rao and Krishna under the banner of Padmalaya Studios. A wicked stepmother and her brother attempt to kill her stepson, only he survives, and years laterm re-enters their lives; And on the other hand.. Takkar stars Sanjeev Kumar in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Zeenat Aman, Jaya Prada, Ashok Kumar, Vinod Mehra, Bindiya Goswami and Jeetendra Kapoor. The screenplay is written by G. Hanumantha Rao which is inspired from Devudu Chesina Manushulu. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman. Cinematography was done by P. L.
