The City is a 1994 French-language Action film written by Priyadarshan Nair and directed by I.v. Sasi and produced by G. P Vijayakumar under the banner of Seven Arts. The city stars Suresh Gopi in the lead role along with Urvashi, Lalu Alex, Ratheesh and Ahana in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by T. Damodaran. The music was composed by Johnson. Editing was done by K. Narayanan. It was released on 1st January 1994. The City was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Seven Arts Release.
