The Cutter is a 2005 English-language Action Crime film written by Bruce Haskett and directed by William Tannen and Bill Tannen and produced by Danny Lerner, Pinchas Perry and Les Weldon under the banner of Millennium Films in collaboration with Modern Digital and North by Northwest Entertainment. After a deadly kidnapping rescue gone wrong, a guilt ridden detective recruits his specialized SWAT team to successfully rescue an aged diamond cutter from the hands of a murderous thief. The cutter features Chuck Norris in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Joanna Pacu A, Daniel Bernhardt, Bernie Kopell, Todd Jensen, Marshall R. Teague and Tracy Scoggins. The music was composed by Elia Cmiral. Cinematography was done by Peter Moss and editing by Jason A. Payne. The movie has a running time of 92 minutes. The Cutter was made on a budget of $6 million.
