Thirupaachi is a 2005 Tamil-language Action Romance film written and directed by Perarasu and produced by R. B. Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films. The movie begins in a remote village in Madurai where Sivagiri, a blacksmith and his sister Karupayi share a close bondage.. Thirupaachi features Joseph Vijay in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Trisha Krishnan, Mallika Venugopal, Manoj K. Jayan, Pasupathy Ramasaamy, Kota Srinivasa Rao and Yugendran. The music was composed by Dhina along with Devi Sri Prasad and Mani Sharma. Cinematography was done by S. Saravanan and editing by V. Jaishankar. The motion picture has a running time of 178 minutes.
