Varakatnam is a 1968 Telugu-language Drama movie directed by Taraka Rama Rao Nandamuri and N. T. Rama Rao and produced by N. Trivikrama Rao under the banner of Ramakrishna & NAT Combines. Varakatnam stars N. T. Rama Rao in the title role along with Krishna Kumari, Taraka Rama Rao Nandamuri, Rajanala, Raavi Kondala Rao, Nagabhushanam and Savitri Kommareddy in supporting roles. The music was composed by T. V. Raju. Cinematography was done by Ravikant Nagaich and editing by G. D. Joshi. The motion picture has a running time of 176 minutes. It was released on 29th April 1968.
