Vidhyarambham stars Sreenivasan, Gouthami, Nedumudi Venu, Kpac Lalitha, Gautami, Murali Pillai and Philomina. The screenplay is written by Sreenivasan. The music was composed by Bombay Ravi. Cinematography was done by A. V. Thomas and editing by L. Bhoominathan. It was released on 1st January 1990. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Seven Arts.
