Virsa is a 2010 Punjabi-language Drama motion picture written by Pankaj Batra, Arun Behl, Amanullah Khan and Arun Behll & Pankaj Batra. The movie is directed by Pankaj Batra and Bawayces and produced by Amanullah Khan, Vikram Khakhar, Jyotish Chugani and Aman Mahajan. An elderly male is abused by his wealthy son, while the latter has to deal with his own greed, and out-of-control children. Virsa features Arya Babbar in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Mehreen Raheel, Noman Ijaz, Gulshan Grover, Kanwaljit Singh, Aman Dhaliwal and Andrew Duvall. The music was composed by Haider Ali Mir along with Background Score=raju Rao. Cinematography was done by R. A. Krishna and editing by Pravin Prabhakaran. It was released on 7th May 2010. The Film was successful at box office. Virsa was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹11 crore. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Wize Mindz Entertainment.
