Banshee is a 2013 English-language Action Crime show created by Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler. The show was Produced by Chad Feehan and Robert F. Phillips under the banner of Your Face Goes Here Entertainment in collaboration with Tropper Schickler Productions and One Olive. airing on Cinemax. Set in the small town of Banshee in Pennsylvania Amish country, the series' main character is an enigmatic ex-con who assumes the identity of Lucas Hood, the town's murdered sheriff, to hide from powerful crime lord Rabbit . Banshee features Antony Starr, Ivana Mili Evi, Ulrich Thomsen, Frankie Faison, Hoon Lee, Rus Blackwell and Stevie Ray Dallimore. The music was composed by Methodic Doubt. Cinematography was done by Christopher Faloona. The show has a running time of 43-59 minutes for each episode. The show has a total of 38 episodes during it's run of 4 seasons. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Distribution rights for the show were acquired by HBO Entertainment. Season 4

Haunted by his inability to locate Job following his abduction from Camp Genoa two years earlier, Lucas returns to Banshee to find the town dramatically changed – with a new sheriff, a new mayor, and a serial murderer on the loose. Carrie, still guilt-ridden over the death of her husband Gordon, undergoes court-sanctioned therapy and looks to distract herself in familiar, violent, ways. Scarred but unbowed, Bunker finds what comfort he can apart from his lonely life as a deputy, while his skinhead brother Calvin takes his job frustrations out on a Redbone tribe member who breached a territorial drug agreement with Proctor.
