Navapur is a city and tehsil in Nandurbar district, in the state of Maharashtra, India. Navapur is situated on the Rangavali river, on the border of the state of Gujarat. It is 110km from Surat and a similar distance from Dhule. The city is overlooked by hills on one side. Navapur is known for its poultry farms. The first case of avian flu in India was detected in Navapur in 2006. There are other industries in the city and tehsil, including sugar and other food factories. Navapur has a railway station. The population is made up of a number of communities, including Marathi, Marwari, Gujarati, and Adivasi. The institution "Adivasi Seva Sahayak Sanstha" provides educational facilities. The large Ukai Dam is near Navapur. Amongst the temples in the areas are the Shabri Mata mandir, located in Subir village and 35km from Navapur city and the Sai Baba temple in the Prabhakar colony.
