About Galsi

Galsi II (community development block) (Bengali: II ) is an administrative division in Bardhaman Sadar North subdivision of Bardhaman district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Galsi police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Galsi.[1][2] Galsi is located at 232014N 874133E. Galsi II community development block has an area of 277.90 km2.[2] Galsi is located in the laterite plains between Damodar River and Ajay River.[3] Gram panchayats[edit] Gram panchayats of Galsi II block/panchayat samiti are: Adra, Bhuri, Galsi, Gohogram, Khano, Kurkuba, Masjidpur, Sanko and Satinadi.[4]
