Cameron Michelle Diaz professionally known as Cameron Diaz made her debut as an actor in the film The Mask (1994). It was in 1998 she gained wider recognition as an actor with the movie Theres Something About Mary which gave her stardom. There was no turning back after that and Cameron Diaz at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the New York Film Critics Circle awards for Best Actress for Theres Something About Mary which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Diazs career so far are The Mask (1994), My Best Friends Wedding (1997), Theres Something About Mary (1998), Any Given Sunday (1999), Being John Malkovich (1999), Charlies Angels (2000), Vanilla Sky (2001), Gangs of New York (2002), In Her Shoes (2005), The Holiday (2006), The Box (2009), Bad Teacher (2011), and The Other Woman (2014) to name a few. Diaz, daughter of Billie and Emilio Diaz was born on August 30, 1972, in San Diego, California. She attended Los Cerritos Elementary School, and then Long Beach Polytechnic High School. In 2013, she was named the highest-paid actress over 40 in Hollywood.
