BIOGRAPHY

Daniel Michael DeVito Jr. professionally known as Danny DeVito made his debut as an actor in Dreams of Glass (1970). It was in 1975 he gained recognition as an actor with the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role - Television Series for Taxi which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in DeVitos career so far are One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest (1975), Terms of Endearment (1983), Throw Momma from the Train (1987), Twins (1988), The War of the Roses (1989), Batman Returns (1992), Get Shorty (1995), Matilda (1996), Mars Attacks! (1996), L.A. Confidential (1997), Man on the Moon (1999), Wiener-Dog (2016), Dumbo (2019), and The One and Only Ivan (2020) to name a few. DeVito son of Daniel DeVito Sr. and Julia DeVito was born on November 17, 1944, in Neptune Township, New Jersey. He attended Oratory Preparatory School in Summit, New Jersey, and graduated from there in the year 1962. He then trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated in 1966.
