BIOGRAPHY

Drew Blythe Barrymore is professionally known as Drew Barrymore made her debut as a child actor in the film Altered States (1980). It was in 1982 she got her recognition as a child actor with the movie E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. There was no turning back after that and Barrymore at present is considered a very bankable star. She has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to her credit. Her maiden award was the Young Artist Awards for Best Young Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Barrymores career so far are E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982), Poison Ivy (1992), Boys on the Side (1995), Mad Love (1995), Scream (1996), Ever After (1998), The Wedding Singer (1998), Never Been Kissed (1999), Charlies Angels (2000), Donnie Darko (2001), Riding in Cars with Boys (2001), Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002), Charlies Angels: Full Throttle (2003), 50 First Dates (2004), Fever Pitch (2005), Music and Lyrics (2007), Going the Distance (2010), Big Miracle (2012), Blended (2014), and Miss You Already (2015) to name a few. Drew Blythe Barrymore, daughter of John Drew Barrymore and Jaid Barrymore, was born on February 22, 1975, in Culver City, California. In 2014 received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
