BIOGRAPHY

Leonard Simon Nimoy professionally known as Leonard Nimoy made his debut as an actor in the film Queen for a Day (1951). It was in 1966 he gained wider recognition as an actor with Star Trek. There was no turning back after that and Nimoy was considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best Cast for Star Trek which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Nimoys career so far are Queen for a Day (1951), Zombies of the Stratosphere (1952), The Brain Eaters (1958), The Balcony (1963), Deathwatch (1965), Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), and Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (1986) The Good Mother (1988), Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (1989), and Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (1991) to name a few.
