BIOGRAPHY

William Shatner made his debut as an actor in the film The Butlers Night Off (1951). It was in 1979 he gained wider recognition as an actor with the film Star Trek: The Motion Picture. There was no turning back after that and Shatner at present is considered as a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Saturn Awards for Best Actor for Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Shatners career so far are The Butlers Night Off (1951), The Outrage (1964), Incubus (1965), Big Bad Mama (1974), The Devils Rain (1975), Land of No Return (1978), Star Trek: The Motion Picture (1979), Star Trek Generations (1994), Miss Congeniality (2000), A Christmas Horror Story (2015), To Your Last Death (2016), and Devils Revenge (2019) to name a few. Shatner son of Ann and Joseph Shatner was born on March 22, 1931, in Quebec, Canada. He attended Willingdon Elementary School and West Hill High School. He then pursued his Bachelors degree in Economics from the McGill University Faculty of Management in Montreal, Canada. McGill University awarded him an honorary Doctorate of Letters in June 2011.
