7 Days in Entebbe is a 2018 English-language Crime Drama film written by Gregory Burke and directed by José Padilha and Jos Padilha and produced by Eric Fellner, Ron Halpern, Tim Bevan, Liza Chasin, Kate Solomon and Michelle Wright under the banner of Participant Media in collaboration with Working Title Films. 7 days in entebbe features Rosamund Pike in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Daniel Br Hl, Eddie Marsan, Ben Schnetzer, Lior Ashkenazi, Denis M Nochet and Daniel Brühl. The music was composed by Rodrigo Amarante. Cinematography was done by Lula Carvalho and editing by Daniel Rezende. The motion picture has a running time of 107 minutes. In July 1976, an Air France flight from Tel-Aviv to Paris via Athens was hijacked and forced to land in Entebbe, Uganda. The Jewish passengers were separated and held hostage in demand to release many terrorists held in Israeli prisons. After much debate, the Israeli government sent an elite commando unit to raid the airfield and release the hostages.
