Ashray is a 1983 Malayalam-language Drama movie written by A. R. Mukesh and John Paul. The movie is directed by Biplab Roy Chowdhury and K. Ramachandran. Ashray was produced under the production house Minar Movies. Ashray stars Prem Nazir in the title role along with Sukumari, Nedumudi Venu, Sankaradi, Anita Das, Shafi Inamdar, Amol Palekar and Om Puri in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by John Paul. The music was composed by M. B. Sreenivasan. Cinematography was done by Anandakkuttan and editing by M. N. Appu. It was released on 1st January 1983.
