Baawri is a 1982 Hindi-language Family film. When mentally unstable Gayatri becomes the cause of their daughter's death, Shankar divorces her and marries Jayanti. But when Jayanti is haunted by a dreadful past, Gayatri comes to her rescue. Baawri features Rakesh Roshan, Jaya Prada, Yogeeta Bali, Shreeram Lagoo, Govardhan Asrani, Seema Deo and Nirupa Roy. It was released on 1st January 1982.
