Dragonball Evolution is a 2009 English-language Action Adventure movie written by Ben Ramsey and directed by James Wong and produced by Stephen Chow. The story begins with Goku, who ks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan's dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. Dragonball Evolution was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $58 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by 20th Century Fox.
