Dragonball Evolution is a 2009 English-language Action Adventure movie written by Ben Ramsey and directed by James Wong and produced by Stephen Chow. The story begins with Goku, who ks out upon his adoptive grandfather Grandpa Gohan's dying request to find the great Master Roshi and gather all seven Dragon Balls. Of which he has one, in order to prevent the evil Lord Piccolo from succeeding in his desire to use the Dragon Balls to take over the world. And Goku's quest is to obtain the mystical Dragonballs before Piccolo does. Written by Anthony Pereyra {hypersonic91@yahoo.com}. Dragonball evolution features Justin Chatwin, Emmy Rossum, Jamie Chung, Chow Yun-fat, Yun-fat Chow, James Marsters and Rich E. Cordobes. The screenplay is written by Ben Ramsey which is inspired from Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama. The music was composed by Brian Tyler. Cinematography was done by Robert McLachlan and editing by Matthew Friedman and Chris Willingham. The movie has a running time of 85 minutes. It was released on 12th March 2009 in English and Japanese languages. The Film was successful at box office. Dragonball Evolution was made on a budget of $30 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $58 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by 20th Century Fox.
