Fit for a King is a 1937 English-language Comedy Romance film written by Richard Flournoy and directed by Edward Sedgwick and produced by David L. Loew. A newspaper reporter assigned to do a story on royalty and the antics begin. Some comic relief. Fit for a king features Joe E. Brown in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Helen Mack, Paul Kelly, Harry Davenport, Halliwell Hobbes, John Qualen and Donald Briggs. The music was composed by Arthur Morton. Cinematography was done by Paul Vogel and editing by Jack Ogilvie. The film has a running time of 73 minutes. It was released on 1st September 1937. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by RKO Radio Pictures.
