Halkaa is a 2018 Hindi-language Drama Family motion picture written by Nitin Dixit and Nila Madhab Panda. The movie is directed by Nila Madhab Panda and produced by Nila Madhab Panda and Roshini Nadar Malhotra. Halkaa is a story of an eight-year-old boy Pichku who lives in the oldest slums of Delhi and aspires for a better life. It is a story of a child who against all odds strives to achieve his goal and becomes a hero in the making for his parents, slum, and society. This is the maiden production of Shiv Nadar Foundation in association with Akshay Kumar Parija and Nila Madhab Panda and Supratik Roy is the associate producer. Written by Nila Madhab Panda. Halkaa features Ranvir Shorey in the title role along with Paoli Dam, Tathastu and Vipin Katyal in supporting roles. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Shankar Mahadevan and Loy Mendonsa. Cinematography was done by Pratap Rout and editing by Archit D Rastogi. The movie has a running time of 133 minutes. It was released on 7th September 2018. The movie made a box office gross of ₹13 lakh.
