Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty is a 2014 Hindi-language Action Adventure motion picture written and directed by A.r. Murugadoss and A. R. Murugadoss and produced by Aruna Bhatia and Vipul Amrutlal Shah under the banner of Hari Om Entertainment in collaboration with Sunshine Pictures. It is an official remake of Murugadoss' own 2012 Tamil film Thuppakki and follows an Indian Army officer who arrives in Mumbai on vacation and sets out to hunt down the terrorist leader of a sleeper cell network and deactivate the sleeper cells operating under his command. Holiday: a soldier is never off duty features Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Freddy Daruwala, Sumeet Raghavan, Govinda, Sumeet Raghvan and Arsh Merchant. The film is based on Thuppakki. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty along with Kaushik Dutta and Prasad Sashte. Cinematography was done by Natarajan Subramaniam and editing by Amitabh Shukla.
