Horrid is a 2011 English-language Action Horror movie written by James Pronath and Lucinda Whiteley. The movie is directed by James Pronath and Nick Moore and produced by Allan Niblo, Rupert Preston, Mike Watts and Lucinda Whiteley under the banner of Vertigo Films in collaboration with Novel Entertainment Productions, Prescience, Aegis Film Fund and UK Film Council. Horrid features Theo Stevenson in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Anjelica Huston, Scarlett Stitt, Ross Marron, Richard E. Grant, Parminder Nagra and Kimberley Walsh. The film is based on Horrid Henry by Francesca Simon. The music was composed by Michael Price along with Lester Barnes. Cinematography was done by Sam McCurdy and editing by Simon Cozens. The film has a running time of 93 minutes. It was released on 5th April 2011. The motion picture made a box office gross of $10 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Vertigo Films.
