Paddington 2 is a 2017 live-action animated film. The movie is based on Paddington Bear stories by Michael Brown. Paddington who works very hard to buy a gift for his aunt for her 100th birthday. While he goes to purchase a gift for his aunt to an antique shop is blamed for the robbery which he did not commit. How he proves his innocence is the essence of the story. The voice cast includes Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Peter Capaldi, Hugh Grant, and Ben Whishaw. The film was directed by Paul King and written by Paul King and Simon Farnaby. It was produced by David Heyman under his production banner Heyday Films and distributed by Studio Canal. The film was edited by Jonathan Amos and Mark Everson and captured by Erik Wilson. The music was composed by Dario Marianelli. The film was premiered in London on 5th November 2017 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The movie was made on a budget of $40 million and became a blockbuster at the box office with a collection of $227.3 million. It has a running time of 104 minutes. During the end credits, Hugh Grant has performed a song “ Rain on the Roof”.
