Jolly LLB2 is the story of a lawyer who deceives a woman to start his firm. He feels guilty when he comes to know that she committed suicide since her husband was a victim of injustice. To set things right he represents this most critical case of his career. The screenplay was written by Subhash Kapoor. The film was produced by Mahesh Korade, Gaurav Nanda and Naren Kumar and directed by Subhash Kapoor. This 2017 dark comedy film stars Akshay Kumar, Annu Kapoor, Huma Qureshi, and Saurabh Shukla. The movie was completed in 30 days by Akshay Kumar and he used only one type of shoe in the whole film. The film’s depiction of the Indian Legal system and title created controversy when advocate Ajaykumar Waghmare felt that the word LLB in the title was deliberately used to insult the Indian Legal system. He filed a case at the Bombay High Court after the 3 - member committee examined the content his plea was rejected.
