Lemonade Mouth is a 2011 English-language Comedy Drama motion picture developed by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, Duane Capizzi and Jeff Kline written by April Blair and Mark Peter Hughes. The movie is directed by Patricia Riggen. Lemonade Mouth was produced under the production house Digitalscape in collaboration with K/O Paper Products, Darby Pop Productions, Allspark Animation and Polygon Pictures. The movie originally aired on The Hub / Hub Network. Five high school kids, Olivia, Wendall, Stella, Charlie, and Mo, meet in detention and start a band based off the lemonade vending machine outside the detention room. Lemonade mouth stars Bridgit Mendler in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Adam Hicks, Hayley Kiyoko, Naomi Scott, Blake Michael, Nick Roux and Chris Brochu. The film is based on Transformers by Hasbro. The music was composed by Brian Tyler along with Matthew Margeson. The movie has a running time of 21-22 minutes. It was released on 15th April 2011.
