The Jake material isnt the strongest storyline that the shows ever done and its timing here in the season doesnt help either. Den Of Geek

As Murtaugh happens to point out, Riggs doesnt need booze to be crazy and that hes biologically incapable of following rules, whether hes sober or not .. Den Of Geek

The episode doesnt necessarily explain why everyone is so loyal to the guy, but its a minor detail in a memorable scene. Den Of Geek
