Mahal is a 1969 Hindi-language Crime Mystery film written by Vrajendra Gaur and K.a. Narayan. The movie is directed by Shankar Mukherjee and Shanker Mukherjee and produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary, Gayatri Gil Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary under the banner of Swastik Productions. To pay for his sister's marriage, a brother enters into a criminal conspiracy to impersonate the nephew of a wealthy male. Mahal features Dev Anand, Asha Parekh, Farida Jalal, Abhi Bhattacharya, David Abraham, Sudesh Sunder and Murad. The music was composed by Kalyanji Anandji. It was released on 14th August 1970.
