Margot at the Wedding is a 2007 English-language Comedy Drama movie written and directed by Noah Baumbach and produced by Scott Rudin under the banner of Leverage Entertainment in collaboration with Closest to the Hole Productions, Universal Cable Productions and Paramount Television. Margot and her son Claude decide to visit her sister Pauline after she announces that she is marrying less-than-impressive Malcolm. In short order, the storm the sisters create leaves behind a mess of thrashed relationships and exposed family secrets. Margot at the wedding features Nicole Kidman in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jack Black, John Turturro, Ciar N Hinds, Halley Feiffer and Zane Pais. The music was composed by Bobby Krlic. Cinematography was done by Harris Savides and editing by Carol Littleton. The movie has a running time of 93 minutes. It was released on 14th December 2007. Margot at the Wedding was made on a budget of $10 million and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Paramount Vantage.
