Mercury Pookkal is a 2006 Tamil-language Romance Drama film written and directed by Ss Stanley and S. S. Stanley and produced by Aaradhana Reddy under the banner of Vijaya Productions. A boy and girl get married due to the pressure from their respective families. Eventually, they fall in love with each other. But a new challenge awaits their relationship. Mercury pookkal features Meera Jasmine, Sameksha, Srikanth Krishnamachari and Mahadevan. The music was composed by Karthik Raja along with Bala Bharathi. Cinematography was done by Ramesh Babu and editing by Anil Malnad. It was released on 31st March 2006.
