Monteverde, Roselle Monteverde-teo, Annette Gozon-abrogar and Jose Mari Abacan under the banner of Regal Films in collaboration with GMA Films. Single-mom Esme gives her daughter for adoption to her elder brother who immediately goes to America.. My monster mom stars Ruffa Gutierrez, Annabelle Rama, Rhian Ramos, Cherrie Madrigal, Richard Gutierrez, Ces Aldaba and Jannete Castillo. The music was composed by Jesse Lucas. Cinematography was done by Rodolfo Aves Jr. and editing by Ria de Guzman. It was released on 2nd July 2008 in Filipino,English and Visayan languages. The Film was successful at box office. My Monster Mom was made on a budget of ₱10 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₱96 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Regal Films.
