Nandha is a 2001 Tamil-language Action Drama movie written and directed by Bala Pazhanisaamy and produced by Ganesh Raghu, Karthik Radhakrishnan, Venky Narayanan and Rajan Radhakrishnan under the banner of Aparajeeth Films. Nandha is story about a young man from a borstal coming back to a society and his family he had left many years ago. Nandha stars Suriya Sivakumar in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Laila Mehdin, Raj Kiran, Rajashri, Aruna Guhan, Sheela Kaur and 'nandha' Saravanan. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Gurukiran Shetty along with Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematography was done by R. Rathnavelu and editing by Suresh Urs. The movie has a running time of 125 minutes. It was released on 14th November 2001. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹6 crore. At the 2002 South Filmfare Awards It won 2 awards including: Best Actress (Laila Mehdin) and Best Cinematographer.
