Open Season 2 is a 2008 English-language Animation Adventure film written by David I. Stern and directed by Matthew O Callaghan, Todd Wilderman and Matthew O'callaghan and produced by Kirk Bodyfelt and Matthew O'callaghan under the banner of Sony Pictures Animation in collaboration with Reel FX Creative Studios. After falling head over hooves in love with Giselle, Elliot's road to the altar takes a slight detour when Mr. Weenie is kidnapped by a group of pampered pets determined to return him to his owners. Open season 2 stars Joel Mchale in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Mike Epps, Cody Cameron, Jane Krakowski, Billy Connolly, Crispin Glover and Danny Mann. The motion picture is based on Characters by Steve Moore. The music was composed by Ramin Djawadi. Editing was done by Steven Liu and Jimmy Sandoval. The motion picture has a running time of 76 minutes. It was released on 24th September 2008. The film made a box office gross of $7 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
