Phaansi is a 1978 Hindi-language Action Drama movie written by Ravi Kapoor and Rahi Masoom Reza. The movie is directed by Harmesh Malhotra and produced by Harmesh Malhotra. In king to avenge his father's murder, a young man puts an entire village at risk of retribution. Phaansi stars Shashi Kapoor, Sulakshana Pandit, B. M. Vyas, Ranjit Barot, Pran Krishan Sikand, Jeevan Omkar Nath Dhar and Sheri Mohan. The music was composed by Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma along with Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar and Laxmikant Pyarelal.
