Sarvadhikari is a 1951 Tamil-language Musical film written by A. V. P. Asai Thambi and directed by T. R. Sundaram Mudaliyar and produced by T. R. Sundaram Mudaliyar under the banner of Modern Theatres. An ambitious minister (Nambiar) with designs to topple the puppet king (Pulimoottai Ramaswami) finds the popularity of the commander-in-chief (Nagaiah) and his favourite soldier (MGR) a stumbling block. He sends a young woman (Anjali Devi) to seduce the soldier, but she falls in love with him. After several twists and turns, the evil minister is exposed and felled in an exciting duel with the hero. The commander is chosen as the first president of the kingdom, now a republic! Written by libra5. Sarvadhikari features M. G. Ramachandran, Anjali Devi, M. N. Nambiar, Chittor V. Nagaiah, A. Karunanidhi, T. P. Muthulakshmi and M. Saroja. The screenplay is written by Ko. Dha. Shanmugasundaram. The music was composed by S. Dakshinamurthi. Cinematography was done by M. Masthan and G. R.
