Sixteen Fathoms Deep is a 1934 English-language Adventure movie written by Barry Barringer and Norman Houston. The movie is directed by Armand Schaefer and produced by Paul Malvern under the banner of Paul Malvern Productions. A sponge diver hopes to make enough money to buy his own boat and marry his girlfriend. A rival diver, however, has other plans for him. Sixteen fathoms deep stars Sally O'neil in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Lon Chaney Jr., Russell Simpson, Maurice Black, Si Jenks, Jack Kennedy and George Regas. The motion picture is based on the American magazine story by Eustace L. Adams. The movie has a running time of 58 mins. It was released on 1st January 1934. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Monogram Pictures.
