So Young is a 2013 Mandarin-language Drama film written by Qiang Li and Yiwu Xin. The movie is directed by Wei Zhao and Zhao Wei and produced by Stanley Kwan under the banner of Hua Shi Film Investment Co. in collaboration with Ltd, China Film Group, Co-production: Beijing Enlight Pictures, Pulin Films Co., Beijing Ruyi Xinxin Film Investment, Beijing Max Times Cultural Development and Dook Publishing. A college freshman encounters new friends, romance, and adventure upon her arrival at campus. So young features Mark Chao in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Han Geng, Yang Zishan, Jiang Shuying, Geng Han, Zishan Yang and Shuying Jiang. The screenplay is written by Li Qiang which is inspired from To Our Youth that is Fading Away by Xin Yiwu. The music was composed by Dou Peng. Cinematography was done by Li Ran and editing by Chan Chi-wai. The motion picture has a running time of 132 minutes. It was released on 6th June 2013. The Film was successful at box office. So Young was made on a budget of ¥30 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of ¥718 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by China Film Group.
