Suryavamsam is a 1997 Tamil-language Comedy Drama motion picture written and directed by Vikraman and produced by R. B. Choudary under the banner of Super Good Films. Sakthivel is upset with his son Chinnarasu's careless attitude. He is further infuriated when Chinnarasu refuses to marry Gowri. Then he meets Nandini, who seems to turn around his life. Suryavamsam stars Sarath Kumar, Raadhika, Priya Raman, Anandraj, Devayani Rajakumaran, Jai Ganesh and Satya Priya. The music was composed by S. A. Rajkumar. Cinematography was done by S. Saravanan and editing by V. Jaishankar. The film has a running time of 156 minutes. It was released on 27th June 1997.
