The movie is directed by Joey Gosiengfiao and Chris Martinez and produced by Jose Mari Abacan, Lea A. Calmerin, Annette Gozon-abrogar and Roselle Monteverde-teo. Four beauty pageant contestants, who are vying for the coveted title of Miss Manila Sunshine, set sail on a yacht.. Temptation island stars Marian Rivera, Heart Evangelista, Rufa Mae Quinto, Lovi Poe, Solenn Heussaff, John Lapus and Vincent Cando. The music was composed by Von De Guzman. Cinematography was done by Gary Gardoce and editing by Vanessa De Leon. The film has a running time of 115 minutes. It was released on 6th July 2011 in Tagalog and English languages. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₱60 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by GMA Films.
