The movie is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Xavier Britto under the banner of XB Film Creators. Thalapathy 64 stars Vijay Sethupathi, Joseph Vijay and Antony Varghese. The music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Cinematography was done by Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Philomin Raj. It was released on 1st April 2020. Thalapathy 64 was made on a budget of ₹140 crore. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Seven Screen Studio.
