Ravi under the banner of Vidhya Movies. The film revolves around a wealthy merchant who keeps his daughter's nanny, an eyewitness to a murder committed by him, captive in his house. Polladhavan features Rajinikanth in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Lakshmi, Kannika, Uday Laxmi, Munni, S Lakshman Kumar and Jai Ganesh.
